Dear Family, Friends and Neighbors,
Once again we will be having our own Super Hero themed ALS Mini Walk to fundraise and show support for my brother Scott. The date is Saturday June 5th. This year, the walk will take place at Scott and Lori’s. The address is 46 W. 66th Street in Westmont. We will gather in the parking lot/ patio area. Please arrive by 9:45 and feel free to accessorize in any super hero items you may have! We will take a short walk at 10 am and then gather for a visit to support Scott. Please join us. It would mean so much to see you there. If you are unable to attend, please consider a donation to our team "Go Scott Go". We rely on our chapter services and this fundraiser is an excellent way to give back as well as fund research for a cure.
Please let me know if you are able to attend in person as there will be a little victory celebration after and I want to have enough snacks and space for everyone!
Thank you,
Cindy

ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
