ABOUT YPG
The Young Professionals Group (YPG) is a dynamic group of young professionals who are committed to supporting The ALS Association Greater Chicago Chapter's mission to lead the fight to cure and treat ALS through global, cutting-edge research, and to empower people with Lou Gehrig's disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.
What YPG Does
YPG is committed to raising awareness and funds for The ALS Association Greater Chicago Chapter through unique events that contribute to the organization's mission, while creating opportunities for young professionals to meet, socialize, and network in a fun and relaxed environment.
Who are YPG Members
YPG brings together dedicated, talented young professionals who volunteer their time, talents, and skills to contribute to the fight against Lou Gehrig's disease and to encourage others to do the same. Committee members work in a variety of career fields including entertainment, law, real estate, business, healthcare, education, finance, and the non-profit sector. Most members have a personal connection to ALS which makes them passionate about the cause. Though this is not required to join the Group and there are some members without connections to the disease.

The committee's work gives young professionals the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and use their talents and contacts to strengthen The ALS Association while they meet new people, build relationships, develop professionally, and have a good time. Other benefits include:
