May 9 | ALS Roundtable Teleseries: COVID19 - Impact on ALS
A virtual roundtable webinar via Zoom with video and audio options. Topics will include ALS Care during the Pandemic, ALS Clinical Trials and the Healy Platform, and more. Registration in advance is required.
May 16 | Youth Action Day
Take Action. Spread Hope. In its second year, Youth Action Day is here to put a spotlight on the tremendous volunteer, advocacy, and education work done by children and young adults across the country. This year's Youth Action packet is full of ideas for children and teens that can be done online or from home. Learn more here.
May 28-31 | Songs from Home Series
At the end of May, we will welcome talented musicians to our Facebook page for a weekend of joyful live music. Invite your friends and family to enjoy a concert together while we're physically apart from artists like Nashville's Claire Kelly and renowned international artist Lissie. Donations will be accepted for the Chapter via Facebook and for the artist via their virtual tip jar. Stay tuned for details and save the date!
June 6 | Chicago Walk to Defeat ALS
This year's Chicago Walk to Defeat ALS will take place all across Chicagoland in a day of awareness like we've never seen. Check out the website for all the details to take part in this historic day for our Chapter (including how to get your own Superhero Supply Box!). This Tuesday, May 5th, join us for a Mini Kick-Off via Zoom at 7:00 pm. All walkers, new and returning, are welcome.
