Introducing Tough Turkey, a new way to get moving and give back.

Introducing Tough Turkey 2020

November 21 - December 1, 2020 | Virtual

Just like everything else in 2020, the Turkey Trot just got a whole lot Tougher. 2020 has thrown a ton of obstacles our way. Now avid fitness enthusiast and weekend warrior families can take on the ones they want to conquer. The best part: It’s totally free to register and participants can raise critical funds for The ALS Association Greater Chicago Chapter along the way.

“This will be the largest extreme Turkey Trot in the world this year,” said Kyle McLaughlin, Tough Mudder global CEO. “We all need a little more motivation to get off the couch and get moving right now-- and we’re excited to be able to give back to critical charitable organizations along the way.”

Here’s How It Works:

Participants have the option of completing three different courses:

1. There’s the Gobbler where you build your own 1K circuit course and you and the little ones get to run/walk for as many laps as you’d like with fun family challenges along the way.

2. The Tough Turkey, a core 5K course with 5 five additional “obstacles” to challenge and entertain-- a good option for anyone looking to put in some sweat before loading up on pie.

3. And then there’s the Toughest Turkey - not for the faint of heart. This Level Up includes an extreme 10K with 10 of the most grueling obstacle challenges we can legally encourage you to complete in your backyard.

Interested participants can register for free HERE.

In the spirit of the holiday season, participants can use their Tough Turkey participation as a way to give back. The ALS Association Greater Chicago Chapter has rolled out their Tough Turkey team, and is actively seeking participants to take on the challenge and fundraise for local individuals and families battling ALS in the month of November.

Fundraising for the Tough Turkey virtual challenge is supported by GoFundraise, a global fundraising platform and the official fundraising technology provider for Tough Mudder and Spartan Race.
