SWEET HOME CHICAGO MUSIC SERIES

As ALS Awareness Month continues to fly by, we welcome a series of talented musicians to our Facebook Live page for a weekend of joyful music.  Invite your friends and family to enjoy a concert together while we're physically apart.  Donations will be accepted for the Chapter via Facebook and for the artists via their virtual tip jars.  Enjoy the talents of artists like Claire Kelly, Lissie, Prizefighter, and more! Find the full line up on our Facebook page.

You'll see some of our artists sporting a special t-shirt during their performances. If you'd like a Sweet Home Chicago shirt of your own, order through CustomInk here.  A portion of the proceeds will go toward our Chicago Walk to Defeat ALS efforts.  While our largest annual fundraiser will look different than in years past, our commitment to individuals battling ALS in our Chapter remains strong as ever.

Lissie: Saturday, May 30, 7:30 pm

Lissie grew up in Rock Island, Illinois, near the Mississippi River, speaking her mind and writing songs from an early age. Fans first fell in love with her sun-and-tequila-soaked voice from her five-song EP Why You Runnin', produced by Bill Reynolds of Band of Horses, which was ranked among the Eight Most Auspicious Musical Debuts of 2009 by Paste. After releasing her stunning Top 10 record ‘Castles’ in 2018, Lissie returned earlier in 2019 with ‘When I’m Alone: The Piano Retrospective’- an evocative collection reinterpreting songs from her first decade in music.
